Who is Georgia Bevan?
I’m an Accredited Sports Dietitian, Inaugural AFLW athlete, cook/baker, dog mum and a perfectionist gone rouge. I love traveling the world as much as I love curling up to a good book in my own bed. I want to empower people to feel confident to fuel themselves, through my non-diet dietitian approach. With my own experience of binge restrict mentality that followed me from my teenage years into professional life, I know the power of education and pushing back against diet mentality. I was sick of seeing other people go through the same struggles and sifting through the misinformation on the internet. I created an approach that supported my clients health and performance goals as well as creating freedom with their food and body.
My personal struggles with food and my body led me to becoming a dietitian. I was obsessed with achieving a certain aesthetic that I let it affect my sporting performance. I decided one day enough was enough and I began focusing on fuelling my body not shrinking it. It took 4-5 years of slowly developing skills, knowledge and mindset shifts to develop a healthy relationship with food and my body. My message has become clearer with the help of a non-diet and intuitive eating lens, but it has always been the same. To empower athletes to fuel their body with confidence without restriction or obsession.
As well as a business owner, I am a retired elite athlete. I played in the Inaugural AFLW premiership with the Adelaide Crows in 2017. My passion for footy has seen me travel across the country playing with the Gold Coast Suns AFLW in 2021, Hawthorn VFLW in 2019 and 2021 and NT Thunder in 2018. I finished playing with Sturt FC in the SANFLW in 2023. Although I am no longer pursuing footy at the highest level I am still aiming to be the best athlete I can be. This looks like trying a variety of training styles to get the most out of myself and also give me the inside experience of my clients. Recently I have trained for and ran a half marathon. I know what it is like to juggle work/study/friends/family with the pursuit of being an athlete. This inside knowledge is my secret weapon.
Between seasons, my Husband Ryan and I like to escape from reality and explore the world. From 2015-2020 we traveled overseas every year. More recently we travelled to Japan to experience their culture and incredible food. We are now renovating first home and enjoying exploring locallywith our two border collies.

As well as a sports dietitian, I love to keep active and challenge myself physically. I recently returned to playing softball after a few years away from the game. I am also loving strength and conditioning training in a group setting. Between seasons, my partner Ryan and I like to escape from reality and explore the world. We are looking forward to our first oversees trip since 2019, heading off to Japan in 2024.
